When installing AccPac you must install as admin and then run the DLL & OCX registration tool with an admin account (not run as admin)

Registration Tool Location:
C:\Sage\SageAccpac\Runtime\Regacc.exe

Additional components that are not installed initially will also have to be installed as admin from the command prompt. If not the error message seen below may be produced.

"Sage CRM Synchronization component is not installed"

Solution

Manually install CRM components for AccPac

1. Open CMD as admin
2. msiexec /i AccpacCRMWS.msi /qb

• Note: AccpacCRMWS.msi is located in the Accpac\software\Component directory

Force users out of Accpac

delete file: ...\sites\semaphor.bin

If you cannot delete this file the server will need to be restarted.
